Pauly Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 So I replaced my old remote with ARQ 100, and after a software update it reboot and went to the screen where it asks you to pair your remote for the first time. I tried everything to get it to pair but this remote does not want to. If this remote does NOT have blue tooth then this may be the reason why or if it does, maybe its a different keystroke to get it into pairing mode? Quote
Pauly Posted November 9, 2022 Author Posted November 9, 2022 thanks, I understand that it needs the dongle for the keyboard and air mouse to work, but I guess it only uses IR to talk to the box for the regular remote, eh? Quote
Pauly Posted November 9, 2022 Author Posted November 9, 2022 ahh, well thats alright, I guess I was spoiled to have non line of sight but can live with this. Quote

Pauly Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 I did not know it was missing Bluetooth, I just knew the line of sight worked, which is a no brainer Quote

Pauly Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 Well that's not true for me, the normal part of the remote still needs line of site, the back keyboard part uses the usb wireless dongle and does not need line of site. Quote
