Not updating

Where can I download the latest firmware to update manually? My box won't take an update and the last one was Nov 2018.

The last update was from Nov 21 2018, we have no more Firmware updates, only Buzztv App updates. which should be on 317

Thank you. Looks like it is up to date. I guess this box is just kind of a POS at least mine is with crashing/freezing up, slow to respond, you pick a program to start yet it opens the last one instead. I think it will go on flebay.

try factory resetting your box. all those symptoms are not normal.  if app is crashing, try another player (new or secondary).

what is the latest update for 3900? as I just bought one and when I check mine, it says

Also, I would like to buy another 3900 as the new Buzz models do not change mac accounts, so my question is that is the Buzz team going to keep the updates going for the 3900 ? if so, for how much longer?

Not much du, I managed to find a way around the turnon/off issues with my box. otherwise, was just wondering will Team Buzz maintain the updates on 3900 for few more years?

not really, I think 3900 is a top quality box, I only wish they made a new version of 3900 that one could still change mac accounts on, but my question is does anyone think that Team Buzz will keep updating 3900 for few more years?

by the way the 3900 isn't a true buzz box

XPL3900 is using buzztv2 application.

X4000 series/ vidsticks / essentials / is using buzztv4 application and will get buzztv5 update when it becomes available.

You cannot change your mac address on buzztv4/5 however XC API (Streaming Line ) is supported. Instead of Mac address, this methods is username/password and allows you to use multiple devices.

you can do that on buzztv 2 as well
