Internet speed on wire connection not same as service

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have internet speed of 250 MPS downlad, and 20 MPS upload.   When I do speed test from my computer, tablet, I get 250 MPS, (exactly what I paying for)  However, on my Buzz TV  XPL 3000,  I am connected directly via wire, Ethernet.   When I do a speed test, I only get 90-100 MPS download.   Then I go to WiFii and I get about 120.

My question is.....   why won't the speed test show 250 MPS download when I am connected thru wire (Ethernet connection)  I have also a brand new routher that supports 1 GB.   Any help would be great.   Thanks

Thank you. I did not know that.   Too bad.   What about on WiFii

What model xpl3000 do you have? 2 gig or 1 gig?

Edit: I see there's a basic section so yours must be 2 gig.
