MrEazmo Posted Wednesday at 10:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:34 PM Looking for help, I have two devices one is the Buzz Power station featuring the Buzz 6 app. The other is the U5 using the Buzz 5 app. On both I was connecting with live TV using an M3U server connection. Let me know if you need the provider. The url I used works on my Buzz 5 app, but when used on the Buzz 6 app it plays for about 30 seconds then freezes. I reached out to the provider and was met with them saying they don’t use the app. Do know that they support Tivimate and other apps that use m3u8 files. I have tried the urls they have for those apps but get a connection error message. Please let me know if you need more information. Do know that can connect with Buzz 5 on the U5. Quote
Emporium Posted Wednesday at 10:50 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:50 PM (edited) This is usually caused by the type of encoding done on their streams (usually happens to a lot of public streams). BuzzTV 6 and BuzzTV 5 use different video players. In case you were not aware of it, the Power station does also have BuzzTV 5 available in the apps section which you can use if you want. Does your provider offer an XC stream option ? It's usually the best option (instead of M3U). You can probably try it yourself and see if it works. Your M3U URL string is probably in the form (BTW: if you do have an "output=" option at the end of your string, what is it ?) http://your.server/get.php?username=[username]&password=[yourpassword]&type=m3u_plus&output=mpegts If you create an XC server, from the M3U string. You can use any "name" for the Server. use the "your.server" value for your server URL. Use the "[username]" field for the username and similar for [password]. And then save and try to connect. If you want to try Tivimate, you can download the apk to your PC, copy the apk file to a USB stick and then you can insert usb stick into the Powerstation and go to file manager and install it. dishuser Posted Thursday at 12:11 AM Posted Thursday at 12:11 AM it's also available on aptoide and google play store Quote
MrEazmo Posted Thursday at 05:30 PM Author Posted Thursday at 05:30 PM Thanks, this is the url that works in Buzz 5 app without issue. https://SERVERNAME.best/api/list/USERNAME/PASSWORD Not sure if I should put in the real information where I put “SERVERNAME” Quote
MrEazmo Posted Thursday at 05:33 PM Author Posted Thursday at 05:33 PM The provider says it does not have XC server access but it does have connectivity via Tivimate and IPTV Quote

MrEazmo Posted Thursday at 10:40 PM Author Posted Thursday at 10:40 PM I tried putting in the url that the providers instructions were for TiVimate and it did not connect. The return message was “request error: Request failed after 3 tries -XC API Login 2” Quote

MrEazmo Posted Friday at 12:38 AM Author Posted Friday at 12:38 AM I tried putting in the url that the providers instructions were for TiVimate and it did not connect. The return message was “request error: Request failed after 3 tries -XC API Login 2”. I did put in the username and password the first time. Then I took it out. Message the same on both. Quote
Emporium Posted Friday at 12:53 AM Posted Friday at 12:53 AM For URL you used: https://SERVERNAME.best (not the whole thing with the api stuff). Then entered USERNAME and PASSWORD in the user/pass fields ? I have tried many servers, but have never seen one that offers "ONLY" M3U list. Obviously it has something to do with the encoding of the streams themselves, and the player used on Buzztv 6/Powerstation does not seem to like it. If your reseller says it should work with Tivimate, then he obviously should give you more instructions on how to set it up. Tivimate would work the same on the Powerstation, as it would with any other Android box. Quote
