Lawrence Calhoun Posted Tuesday at 07:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:32 PM My box says my drive is safely ejected. But it is not. It's properly seated and properly inserted into the hub. It worked for a couple hours yesterday. Now it's like it's not even there. It's a Samsung 990 pro Quote
dishuser Posted Tuesday at 07:48 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:48 PM what does this have to do with an iptv app? Quote
Emporium Posted Tuesday at 08:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:52 PM That's a possible sign of an nvme drive that is failing.  Recently happened to another user. Infant mortality on these drives is not uncommon even on the name brands.  https://stbtalk.com/topic/14665-no-response-when-selecting-updates/#findComment-39821 BTW: Samsung 990 Pro is overkill for a media box. What drive would you recommend? Quote
Emporium Posted Wednesday at 02:12 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:12 AM I used micron enterprise class drives and quite a few Kingston KC3000 series with great results. But infant mortality can happen with any brand, and that is why I typically put all drives through a short burn-in period before putting into production machines. Either way, this has NOTHING to do with BuzzTV 6, so this is the last reply in this thread. Quote
