Clear cacje

The clear cache button in the free up stoage menu does not work. I can clear cache by going into imternal storage menu and clearing cache that way but under the free up storage menu it does nothing

Did you go into the Apps menu, and select BuzzTV app and the Clear cache for the app instead.

Yes it works that way and by going into internal storage. Im just saying if u go to the free up storage menu and try to clear cache that way it does not work

When u go to use this option to clear cache it does nothing

it may be an android 13 thing because the x5 ss is the same as well

I have 4900 that works fine.. as u have to go to internnal storage menu to clear cache so sounds like it us android 13 issue not a big deal as u can clear cache by going into either the app menu or internal storage menu. Just wanted to bring it to tge buzz teams attention

Android 11 does nothing either.  You can see how much it uses, click on it, and does nothing.

Easiest way to clear all cache would be to boot into recovery mode, and wipe the /cache partition.  I do not recommend it for the average person.  Typically you should just be clearing the cache on a specific app.

Out of curiosity, and even on my Pixel 7, running Android 15, there is no way to clear ALL cache in one shot.
