When you hit the record button when watching a show, do you get any messages ? Errors, popups, red "rec" icon on top right ? anything ? Quote

Been bouncing e mail with him this evening and he will refresh the acct in a bit. His BUZZTV box is recording, but he acknowledges that it’s only a scheduled recording or what I’m watching. Not both, only MAC support OK.. When watching TV, press Menu button on remote. Got to Settings-?configuration and near the bottom you will have an option that says something like "one touch record". Enable that. Then go back to your Live TV, and as you are watching, hit the record button. Do you get a red "REC" icon on the top right ? Only other thing I can thing of, is that possible the BuzzTV 5 permissions got mangled and it does not have permission to access "files". I'm not in front of my box right now (so going from memory), but to check, from the home screen, you'd have to go to the settings icon on the top right, go into settings, then something like Apps, find BuzzTV 5, click on it, and then click on permissions. And there should be an option in there for files and/or storage. That permission should be enabled. If it is not, it will not be able to write to the internal storage. 1 Quote
Njscan Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Ah ha, so back in the beginning of this thread I commented that when I first got the box I got a message about permission to access files. Never saw that again, and that’s when the problem started. So it’s an option to change permissions? Quote
