Slimcracker08 Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Good evening, I am currently getting an error of “media file not recognized” on Live Tv. I have tried primary and backup player with no change. Using Mac server settings with connection good. Ppv and cnn work fine. Here are my x5 software: Your system is up to date You are running latest fimware on your X5 128Al. Current Firmware Version: V20230815 Current IPTV Version: 5.0.884 Last Time Checked for Updates: Sat, 24 Aug 2024 18:09 No updates available. Just factory reset no change. Reset service and changed portal with same results. What am I missing? any help appreciated thanks slim Quote
Emporium Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Like DU said, check for updates from the LiveTV app, through menu/settings/check updates because 5.0.884 is far from being the latest. I believe 5.0935 is the latest public release. Also, have you verified that the channels that are causing this issue are actually streaming on your service (on another box or using another app) ? I know for a fact, on a very popular service that many of us use, the Pluto channels are all down for nearly the past week, and if you try to stream those channels, you will get the media not recognized or other similar errors like media format not recognized depending on the player you are using. That is not a Buzz problem however, that is a server issue. 1 Quote
