My IPTV provides an m3u url and an epg url. The epg url is currently not working on any video players including buzztv5. Is there a way I can use the server settings I currently use and add different epg urls to it.?There is only one line to put in an epg url (which says optional and I don’t know why you would leave that line blank). Does that mean I have to add the same m3u playlist and pick all my favorite settings and channels all over again just to try a new epg? I believe more than one epg source is needed for the favorite channels on my playlist. I hope I have explained this so someone can make sense of it.

I have tried that. Maybe I’m not inputting it correctly. I get a cannot load portal. When I put the m3u playlist in, should I include my username and password or just put those under the lines for that?

For the XC API you put in your username and password for your subscription and then ask your provider for the server URL needed four the xtreme codes portal you will also be able to see the server URL are the very beginning of the link for the M3U the playlist it ends with a /

from m3u url you get portal url,username and password

enter each in their correct line in xc api

example, if you were given the following as URLs

M3U URL:
http://myserver.xyz:2186/get.php?username=johndoe&password=jdpass&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

EPG URL:
http://myserver.xyz:2186/xmltv.php?username=johndoe&password=jdpass

Then for XC you would use

for XC, you could use:
URL:  http://myserver.xyz:2186
username=johndoe
password=jdpass

And in some cases, if that does not work, try to drop the :2186 on the URL

Regarding using a different EPG URL, you can.  But that would assume that the channel IDs used in your provider'/s M3U, would match the IDs in the XML for them to line match.  You can change the EPG URL as you please, it should not change anything regarding your favorites.  It is literally just for the program guide.  It is optional, because your channels will still work, even without a program guide.  It is obviously better with one, but it will work fine without one.

No it doesn’t. I get “Cannot load portal:not supported “. I really appreciate all the help. I can stream if I enter the info  through the m3u portal but as I said no epg. I have some epg urls that work partially, that’s why I would like to add more than one source epg. But I will try to see which one will load the most channels. Thanks again to all who answered me.

another way to use multiple EPG URLs but not at same time is to create new multiple m3u Server slots in the server setup menu with a different EPG in each. Then you'd just have to switch between server slots to change the epg
