Need help with SSD drive

I installed an SSD drive into the buzz TV XRS 4900. When I look at storage it shows me that it's there but it says it has been  safely ejected. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Appreciate any help.

Where did you format it, on the box or on a PC?

 

Try formatting it on a PC first, to NTFS
Then plug it back into the box.

what size is drive?

On the box. Now it recognizes it. But when I go to record using buzz TV's live tv player. It only gives me the option of internal storage . There's no way I and switch it over to the SSD drive

You format it as Internal Storage or External Storage?

Click the PVR button on remote and change storage right at the top.
