Had the unit on but was watching cable on another HDMI input, suddenly the XRS4900 led went to flashing red and then the TV switched inputs on it's own to the XRS4900. Black screen, wont turn on, won't reset after power unplug, red light keeps blinking, WTF?

Trying to record the same show I'm watching. After a few min when I check, the listing is in the PVR but it says fail on the line listing and nothing is there

With just the internal storage the unit is not recording either. Same error on playback

I've been trying to get my device to record now and I keep getting a fail message in the PVR listings. I have an SSD formatted to the device, with settings to send all recorded shows to the SSD, but waitching live or setting the channel I am watching to record 2 min later it's just not recording. What am I missing?

To update, still having EPG issues, and after some back and forth with my provider I'm trying to make sure things are kosher on my end. What makes it more frustrating is they only stock the 4000 so they have no familiarity with the 4900 that I got direct from buzz On a MAC address provider service, is all the epg credentials piggybacked onto the mac address or do the epg credentials get populated elsewhere? Are there any epg settings that one can adjust on the 4900 besides offset and clear? When my epg works, I only get 2 days worth of ahead listings. this happens for several days in a row then it stops populating and runs out for a day or so then reappears. My provider says he has no such issues on his end and suspects the box. I want to make sure he's not screwing me around with a lousy service.

We have the ability to select up to 10 min past scheduled stop times but with live sports they often run far past that. Is it possible to have a 30/45/60/90 min options that pop up as an option before scheduling a recording? Would make recording football, Mostorsports,baseball, etc much more effective

Now back to being shyte with select channels time shifted wrong 4 hours than others and most not loading. Going to put a boot up my retailer's behind tomorrow

changing vpn servers didn't help but the IPTV server must have had something fixed cos I'm starting to get stuff now albeit with a time shift. Hopefully it is more consistent now

I'll get one out of every 20 channels or so that give me any EPG info, most for only a few hours ahead, a day at best. The rest stay stuck in loading for hours

New user, like the 4900 so far but my EPG is simply not loading information. Out of 350 channels saved as favs I might get one out of 20 channels that give me any EPG info, and at most for a day ahead, usually only a couple hours at best. Constantly "loading" or "no info" . Have cleared cache, cleared EPG, toggled fast load on, rebooted the box, and it doesn't fix the issue. MAC address server. Help?
