  1. Update to my post 22 hrs ago. I ran the M3U connection last night and it worked flawlessly. Watched the Leafs kick the Red Wings butt. I downloaded STBEmu and tried to connect to my sub for MAC server and it wouldn't connect. I contacted my provider because I thought he may have disconnected my MAC when I requested the M3U service login. I requested a one day trial so I could runs some tests. Unfortunately he supplied me with a URL for a different server than the one I had previously which kind of makes my test invalid because I'm am know longer testing the server that the problems were caused on. I requested the same server but he persisted in having me try the different one. So I set up the new server profile in STBEmu and ran it. Programming came on right away. Changed channels flawlessly. Did not see any freezing or hesitation. I exited STBEmu and switched to Buzz5, set up MAC server with the same URL as STBEmu. The result was this "Cannot load portal: Incorrect username or password". Just to be sure that Buzz5 was not locking me out of the server I ran STBEmu again and it came on with no problems. I think this says it all. Also, I my case resetting the MAC doesn't work.
  2. I've tried STBEmu in the past. Didn't like the way it functioned. If that's what I have to do then I have a problem with that because Buzz5 should work correctly.
  3. Yes, I unplugged it overnight and again for an hour this morning. I contacted my provider for the M3U url and was able to connect and load EPG. However I lost the ability to replay programs which I like because it's hockey season. For some reason it won't connect to MAC Server anymore. All other streaming apps (Netflix, Prime, Youtube) work and have always worked.
  4. Thank you for your reply. It was working using MAC and Buzz5 until last night when it dropped Ethernet. I think that may have corrupted something because I still can't connect to my provider. Is there a way to side load the FW into the XRS4500?
  5. Update: MAC was reset, still getting "Cannot load portal: Incorrect username or password"
  6. This problem with "Cannot load portal: Incorrect username or password" is still happening. Buzz XRS4500 Current FW: V20220919 Current IPTV Ver.: 5.0794 MAC SERVER: No user name or password required. I've been having a lot of problems with Buzz 5 locking up when changing channels. I noticed that when I change the channel using the previous channel menu the program name on the lower program info popup does not display the correct program I changed the channel to, and pops up a message saying " Stream is not available try again later". After some time looking at a blank screen the program info changes to the program I selected and picture is displayed. Last night while watching TV my screen froze and would not come back on. When I investigated I found that the box had dropped my Ethernet connection. I tried to switch to wireless and it wouldn't scan for networks and kept shutting the Wifi off. I could not reconnect not matter what I did. After scanning around in settings I found the Bluetooth was off. Just out of desperation I turned it on and the Wifi connected (very strange). When I tried to reconnect to my service I got "Cannot load portal: Incorrect username or password". Ended up doing a hard reset and starting all over only to have the same problem. This morning I asked my provider to reset the MAC. The Buzz5 update doesn't appear to be stable, however I did have problems with the Ethernet not connecting with Buzz4. Dave
