  1. Very simple question and here is the simple answer - if Buzz supports a 3rd party app - the least expected from Buzz is that the buzz remote OK button works with the apps currently supported If that involves a handshake fix from the 3rd party app - then that needs to happen as well.
  2. I have an update. and I have to agree with Emporiums response above. Buzz firmware does not know how to handshake with Microsoft products or apps. I agree with this last post. Thanks for taking the time to let us know the issues you have faced that sound similar. I ordered controllers and hooked them to my buzz box and I was able to select and get everything in the Xbox 360 app to work. That indeed was a buzz remote OK problem when used with the XBox app. Thanks and the issue is now resolved.
  3. I dont believe we understand the issue. We do not know if this is a buzz4 or buzz 5 specific issue yet. That has not been narrowed down to yet. But thanks for helping out.
  4. I dont follow. Why do I need to share my mac ID to update to Buzz 5? Is there not a legal way to do this?

  6. so uninstalled and reinstalled XBox app. I am stuck at the screen attached to this post. I can move the selection but cannot make OK on buzz remote work to proceed. Also did a reboot of Buzz with no luck,

  8. That is exactly what I am trying to do. For some reason - when I click OK on buzz remote - nothing happens. No action happens. I don't know what could be the problem!?
  9. So when you use the Mouse on Buzz Box - how do you select the CONSOLE or CLOUD? I can make the mouse move left right up down, but to select an item I need to use OK on remote, Yes? Are you able to use the OK on the buzz remote to select any item? When I say next screen I mean the screen that needs you to enter the username password. As of this moment, I cannot even get to the screen with textfields to enter username etc.
  10. I dont think you follow what the problem is. It is not related to user name or password. All you have to do is - install the XBox app. and get to the screens I have shared on this post. and then hit Login. Are you taken to the next screen?
  11. Same thing - no action on any selection. I tried to select Cloud, Console and PC but I just dont see anything happening. Can someone with a Buzz give this a quick shot?

  13. Sending other screenshots showing I can install and Get inside the app. But I am unable to hit OK on buzz remote on the word CONSOLE.
  14. Please see the screenshot. There are only two versions of Xbox available that I am interested in. As you can see - I have installed the one that is NOT beta. App is installed successfully. Can someone be kind enough to install the app and see if you can go beyond the login page of the App?
  15. That is correct. That is what I wish to use. But have not succeeded yet. Is there an issue with game pass? or any other option to choose?
  16. Just so I am clear - when I use the Buzz remote mouse - I am able to move it from one place to another. I can bring it to the LOGIN button on the screen, but how can I select it? I have to end up using the OK button from Buzz remote. So we are back to the same issue of the OK button on Buzz remote is not doing any action. What I need help with is - someone who has used XBox App on Buzz box. How are they using it? Maybe if they list the steps they have done - I can isolate and identify what steps I have missed? At this point, I am unable to hit OK on the Buzz remote to select LOGIN from the XBox app to proceed. Does anyone know why this could happen? (The people I have seen using are all on youtube and I do not know how they were successful in using this app, hence I reach out here)
  17. I am able to use the mouse arrow on the buzz remote to move up and down, but once I get that mouse on the LOGIN button on the screen, I do not know how to select it? Dont I have to use the OK button to select using mouse to? How do I select?
  18. I am not using a controller. I am trying to set this up for my 10 year old. The plan is eventually to get Xbox controllers that I hope to connect to the Buzz box (havent looked into that yet) I wanted to first see if I can login and get the Xbox to work. and then proceed to buy the controllers and then see how I can connect them wirelessly? I am not able to use the Buzz remote OK button on the Xbox app. Once in the XBox app - All I can use is the Back button to exit the app. AND also the left right buttons to change focus.

  20. I have seen people use XBOX on the Buzz Box and seems straight forward. I need to log into XBOX to start playing, but I am unable to get the OK button work on the LOGIN screen to proceed to login. Not sure why. Wonder if Aptoide TV needs something else for the buttons on Buzz remote to work?
