Thanks for the help. Tried both but still getting the popup and box doesn't want to power up from the remote.

After the latest update I get a message "Preparing to download, please wait....." that does not go away. If I hit the LiveTv button on the remote and then the home button I can get out of it but next time I power up it comes back. I'm also having trouble starting the box from the remote and have to shut off the power strip and boot by resetting the power to the box. Sent message to allaboutbuzz but haven't received any reply. Thanks for any help. Running version 5.0.783 updated 10/27/22 Current firmware is V20220923

Not a big deal but I have to use the back button to clear the power button menu from the screen when the pvr starts recording. Manual recording doesn't do it, just the auto recordings. Using latest software. Any ideas for a fix?

Yeah, I thought of those options. I was thinking my setup would be more streamlined using the VOD feature. Maybe a consideration for future updates?

My IPTV offers no VOD but I have TV shows stored locally on a USB drive. Is there a way to access that folder on the USB drive using the VOD button on the home screen?

Old topic but in case you're still trying there is an app called Feem that you can send files to any device Android/PC/Mac/Iphone/Linux. The free version works perfect for me for 2PC/1 android phone/1 android tablet and the 4900. We can even connect to our Samsung refrigerator lol. There's also a $4.99 annual pro version if needed to customize.

Was this issue resolved and if so is there somewhere the solution can be accessed? I bought my box last week and just tried to install a Seagate 500gb from a laptop but had no luck.
