  1. How do you perform a backup of the e1 unit. I can seem to find the functionality anywhere.
  2. Tried it both way now. wifi on before turning box off and wifi off before turning off box. Same result. Remote loses Bluetooth connection once machine is turned back on.
  3. Yes, I turned the wifi back on then turned off the box.
  4. More specifically my IPTV subscriptions, yes.
  5. Didn't work. Paired just fine but turned STB off and on again and Bluetooth connection to the remote was gone.
  6. But wouldn't you be backing up the issue?
  7. But wouldn't that back up whatever the problem is also?
  8. My e1 STB freezes and crashes if I check for available updates. It has done this since day one. No idea why. Also the Google Play app for downloading apps does not work properly. I can get into it be once there it will not let me access the left hand panel to navigate between Games/Apps/Movies & TV/Books. I have various subscriptions on it so going back to a factory reset would be a bit of a nightmare in re-instating everything from providers therefore I was hoping for another option.
  9. I have an issue I have not been able to resolve around the e1 STB and HDMI inputs to Samsung smart TVs. I have various Samsung TVs with Samsung soundbars and plugging in the e1 creates a bit of a nightmare. The units I plug into the HDMI Ports are: 4K provider box/receiver to HDMI 1 Samsung BluRay to HDMI 2 BuzzTV e1 to HDMI 3 Samsung Soundbar to HDMI 4 (ARC) Keeping the soundbar plugged into HDMI 4 (ARC) is essential to have the soundbar work with everything connected into it. Problem is that as soon as the e1 STB is introduced into the configuration, one of two things happen: The soundbar switches to DIN mode where no sound comes out of the soundbar and will not allow the input source to be switched out to ARC or The soundbar switches to DIN mode and a message appears on the TV claiming that the soundbar is plugged into an HDMI port that does not support ARC. What??? This happens whether or not the e1 STB is powered on or off. The only way I have managed to get around this is to have the e1 unplugged from it's power source before turning the TV on and then plugging in the e1 STB once the TV is already on. This only happens when the e1 is connected and I have not been able to resolve this. It is not an issue with a specific TV as I have various Samsung TVs, different models/years and it does this with all of them. Any thoughts?
  10. Having issues with the Bluetooth capabilities of this remote. Although the remote remains paired (IR) in the settings, it does not maintain its Bluetooth pairing. It only stays Bluetooth connected for a minute or so before reverting back to just regular IR. Reconnecting to Bluetooth then becomes an issue, sometimes freezing the whole system until the Bluetooth pairing functionality stops the pairing process (gives up) unconnected. After numerous attempts it will connect via Bluetooth only to lose connection within 5 minutes max. If I turn off the STB (power) while connected to Bluetooth, the next time I power on, it does not re-establish the Bluetooth connect again without having to go through the whole "add a device" process. I have subscriptions on it so I'm hoping for other solutions other than resetting the whole box to factory as that would create a whole other headache. Any thoughts out there?
