Hi all. I am trying to get rid of "all" when I am organizing VOD catergories. What works for categiries that I don't want is to set slider to off and then hit return. When I do this for ALL, it doesn't go away.

Help Please. I am planning to start a trial with new supplier. Do I have to delete the M3U of existing provider, or just add a 2nd source. If the latter, can I switch between the two. Thanks

XRS4500 V20220106 5.0.793 Help please. Almost every night around 9p +-, my VOD stops working, with message Stream Not Available. This affects all Favourite episodes, which then work fine in the morning and early evening next day. Turning Buzz box off and on does not fix. Don't hink it is cache because I clean that regularly. Don't think it is internet or iptv because Live TV still works fine when VOD goes down. Any ideas?

XRS45500 receiving Buzz 5 updates. Help please - This morning update crashed the box. Home screen came on. Then the Buzz5 logo like usual when an update omes thru. Now the 5 logo just keeps flashing on and off , along with and info box that says Buzz box keeps stopping. I can't get past this. Have tried turning off and unplugging, with no change.

4500xrs: Search by actor is a nice feature which I have started using a lot. A minor glitch is that when you find something, you can't add to favourites. Favourites button on remote doesn't work & neither does clicking 0n the video & hitting "add to favourites". At present need to note the name of movie & the n search for that. It adds ok from there.

4500 is a couple of years old. It always worked but Live TV picture was always not quite right & VOD was always dark, regardless of settings in Buzz. Looked ok when watching tv on antenna, so I figured this was a Buzz issue with non 4K set. Changing tv to game mode (faster & brighter) resolved the picture concerns.

This may be of interest to anyone with an older TV. Mine is 7 yr old samsung with 1080p & no HDR. I love Buzz, but have had less than perfect picture (TV 4 & 5 beta) regardless of what settings I tried on my 4500. Yesterday I t activated game mode on TV & it made a huge improvement in picture quality for both live TV & VOD. Very happy now, and the only downside is wife won't let me buy a new tv like I wanted.

Hi all. I have been away from this site for a while. For 4500xrs is the latest software still the Beta from early January? New topic: I was having problems on live TV watching catchup videos. I dont recall every seeing a solution, but since then found out by accident that catchup works fine with secondary player (but not the default live tv setting)

Thanks. I did try Custom at one point, but I had to change as it destroyed YouTube videos. Currently using Soft on Buzz and modified Natural on Samsung for decent Live TV but some dark videos. I have tried all the picture settings on Buzz EXCEPT for sport. Will give that a shot. Cheers

Pretty sure it is not server, as all was perfect on my previous android box. The dark VOD issue only started when I started with Buzz (4). But overall I still like Buzz better. I suspect that this is related to Picture settings. Previous box did not have TV settings & I did picture setup thru my Samsung controls. Now both Buzz and Samsung change the TV picture , with a million combination, and I can't figure out how to disable either.

Thanks. I fifn't see any diff & went back to default. I still may try another external player, as I am trying to correct the darkness in about 20% of my VODs. Constantly having to use different display settings between Live TV , which is fine, and VODs which are dark even in dynamic/vivid setting. Hopefully that might change in new Beta, so not putting a lot of time into it before that comes out.

Thanks. Whe n I followed above sequence it worked fine. I had assumed that VLC was open all of the time - or maybe it is & I just had a brain fart when I tried this before

Hi all. While waiting for the next Buzz Beta, I want to try VLC viceo player. There is no problem setting this up in VOD menu. However nothing plays. It looks like I have to give VLC direction where to find the video in Buzz box. Can anyone tell me where that might be. Thanks

Thanks. I had assummed thatclicking external would give me selection, but that doesn't come until I hit play. That just adds another step in the process & I will stick with default.

Hi all. Can anyone tell me how to set up VLC as the default player for VOD. In configuration I see a choice for external player. In Buzz Utilities I see "no default specified", but I can't find the menu to set up VLC default. Thanks

Dark Blue theme was improved but still challenging to read - the dark red was much better. Thanks all. FYI: If episodes were tagged when you scroll left or right, as per comment above, I wouldn't care about the seaon/episode boxes . In my Beta5, they are not tagged. Cheers

Unless I am missing something, Buzz4 was easier to work with than Beta5, in terms of picking episodes. With 5, there are a bunch or horizontal episode icons which are not labelled. If you want episode 4, for example, you start at current and count backwards as you move. The only alternative that I see is a small blue box showing episode # - so small that it is not readable unless you are standing right in front of the TV. There is a lot of real estate available and hopefully the blue box can be larger in the future

The adaptitive hdr helped me as well. I found that picture settings for Live TV did not work well in many videos. I was changing VOD settings to brighten up, and then having to change them again For Live TV. Just looked at a dark video from last night & it was better

Green button sadly doesn't do anything except return to home screen. I assume that might be related to my VOD srver problems and wait fo the final Buzz 5.

I am must be thicker than norrmal today. When I am looking at the video description, if I hit the green button it just sends me to Buzz home screen.

Hi all. Quesrion: In VOD is fhere any setting to increase font size in video description ? At this point, for reading I have to get my butt off the couch and stand closer to TV.
