Is there any workaround for the problem of the PVR stopping because of a buffer?

I think they all buffer occasionally.

I'm just curious why Buzz set it up to work that way instead of just letting it record through the buffer.

I have no issues recording

there's nothing wrong with the way it records

if your service freezes or loses connection to a channel it creates a new link so it can't continue recording something that doesn't exist

Just an update. I spoke directly to Buzz. They are working on a fix to address this issue and hope to have a firmware update sometime this summer.
