PS6 with Audio Visual Receiver (AVR)

AVR interaction with the PS6 has been the subject (or side discussion) of several topics on this forum as well as other forums since the PS6 hit the market with some PS6 users unable to resolve their problems and either giving up on the PS6 or living with less than desirable situations.

I have started a separate topic on the subject here to bring focus on the issue in one place. Also, my family members have grown to despise the PS6 and long for the simpler days of Fire Sticks connected to all our screens (ugh!!) so I feel the need to resolve this somehow.

As described in other topics here, we have a Yamaha AVR. This seems to be common with some (but not all) others also having difficulty.

It would be quite helpful to hear from you if you are successfully using an AVR with a PS6. Specifically, what make and model of AVR?

Sound bars don't seem to cause problems, just AVRs, so I don't think identifying sound bar/AVR combinations will be helpful.

Success would be defined as: PS6, TV and AVR consistently functioning entirely as they are intended using just the BT-500 remote, including power on/off and volume.
