RL2818 Posted Wednesday at 01:58 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 01:58 PM No usb or external devices hooked up no specific time or program running when it re boots, sometimes live tv sometimes a movie or tv series. my service on all my units and those of family and friends come from the same service provider and server. Only this device has this issue, all my units are x5’s but this is the only SS unit. we only use the device for tv and streaming, no games or any side loaded apps. I have tried leaving it on all night and sometimes it reboots over night sometimes it doesn’t the same issue happens here at my house in Canada on bell fibe , at my cottage on a copper internet service and in Florida on spectrum cable service. Sometimes hard to assume power or internet issues. All 3 locations I connect via Ethernet direct wire from the router and 3 different routers. I did try an apple power supply when someone recommended but switched back to buzz supply when tech support said it might not be a good idea since it was not designed for the device, and I am using the new power supply that came a few days ago. I have auto updates on and do check regularly, V20250409 April 15 official Firmware IPTV VERSION 5.0.947 in March it was V20250220 we love the Buzz TV interface because it’s easy to use and almost anyone I have converted to these boxes have very little trouble navigating them. as I have indicated most of my family and close friends all have them now and I’m loyal to the product the re booting is annoying but not the end of the world. Sometimes it goes several days, sometimes it happens minutes after I turn it on in the morning to watch the news. It doesn’t seem to follow any pattern that I can figure out. I think I will try one more factory re set later today , it is a pain to reload all my tv shows , live tv channels and saved movies. I believe that the next thing will be to send it back to buzz and I think they said I pay to send it and they’ll pay to send it back to me if and when they sort it out all ideas are welcome sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
