    is this the latest version for the xrs4000 model.

    details below

    Iptv 5.0.906

     

    it seems to lose connection to the router sporadically . The box required a hard reboot.

  2. It’s a known problem since the last update that the 4000 are losing wifi access when not in use .

    Apparently the mesh networks are causing the issue.

    i myself is waiting for the fix to as the last update was the reason for the wifi  dropping issue

  3. Losing wifi definitely happening on a few 4000 boxes after not being in use for a few hours or less. 
    what I do , is switch from guest to primary wifi network name  on my router and vice versa.

    I have 2 routers connected with each other as one is located on a different floor.

     

    Router one: Guest_home , primary_home name on them

    second router name is smart_guest and smart_home.

     

  4. I concur with Benfica. The secondary player has no sound on alot of channels on a specific iptv service that I use sporadically  but works well (much better) on a different service that I use much more often.

    On default mode the sound is present on all the channels on both services.

    Using the xr4000 box.

    What does he mean from this

    Whatever it is, I like the look.

    is her referring to beta (whatever it is) or is he referring to the software (whatever it is)

    just thinking out loud 🙂

    I can’t seem to find that info under account info .

    I do see the Mac, expiry and what time it expires at which is midnight including the latest version of the buzz software .

    both services expire at midnight but different dates .

  7. Damn..

    Can a server just fail on a certain type of box?

    I loaded up a different manufactured box altogether and the guide loaded smoking fast.

    i transferred my Mac to the non buzz box and bingo guide working amazingly but everything else is garbage on that non buzz box.

    i hope it’s not my buzz box . 
     

    I’m wondering if I should bring it in to worldwide satellites in Mississauga to get it replaced.

    If so, this will be the third box out of so many that I picked up that may have an issue.

    the other 2 boxes had a wifi dropping problem but they swapped them out for me and the new ones are running perfect and I haven’t heard from my end users about anymore issues

  8. Epg doesn’t populate in the buzz app until I land on a specific channel and then it will be visible on that channel but the remaining channels are still blank until i land on them. The epg will stay on the channels that I did land on.

    how can we get the epg to prepopulate before I head to those channels?

    I also noticed that the channel changes are slow and need to press ok a few times before it kicks in.

    factory reset did not resolve the issue, a different provider was tried and same issue,.

    the 3000 model works perfect.

  9. No more Bluetooth error message when it has been turned off. I rebooted the box at least 7 times and the message did not return.

    when Bluetooth was enabled , the error message did pop up a number of times after the reboot of the box,  problem was intermittent , like 30 percent off the time it would pop up the Bluetooth app error message after a reboot.

    On a secondary note, is it normal for the led to be lit green until the wifi connects after a reboot and then turns normal blue when connected to wifi? This is intermittent also.

  10. My firmware version is v20201219 which is close enough to 20201218 but the issue is the Bluetooth error message still pops up when the unit is rebooted with the remote and the unit is on wifi. Led light turns a different colour. 
    as per release notes this was one of the bugs fixed. On a side note going into the apps sextion then aptoid and back out, the wifi drops for a split second. I am not sure if it has to do with the Bluetooth software bug or a hardware issue.

    Factory reset was done but issue persists.

    it doesn’t seem to have an issue when it is hardwired. No bluetooth error message.
