  1. I have an issue with the epg not automatically populating on both my 4500s  and 4900. after roughly 2 days it's empty and you have to scroll through all the channels to repopulate. any way to fix this? thanks

  2. I'm also having recording issues with my 4900 and 4500. running 5.0.774  when I set a record time of say 9 am to 10:05 am it only records for 30 minutes. when you look at the recording in PVR recordings it shows 9am to 10 am but the recording is only for 36 minutes. I have tried recording from the epg and  manually with the scheduled record option but they all fail and sporadically record the entire 65 minutes. Any ideas?

  3. mine is not working properly but I am using a 4900 with a new BT-200 and all is good. my other BT-200 need a reflash back to stock via j-tag that is available on the board. thanks for the input

  4.  it  pairs as BT-100 on my xrs 4500.as I said in the first post .It's the remote that is seen as a bt-100 so the remaote needs a reflash as a bt-200. this has been paired on another 4500 as well as a 4900 with the same result .they all see the remote as a BT-100. this is not the first time I have seen this, hence the request for a j-tag file to reflash the remote back to a BT-200

  5. I have done that many times only sees it as a 100. I have removed the batteries each time and rebooted the unit as well. it always sees it as a BT-100. is there a file I can use to j-tag the unit back to a BT-200?

  6. I have this issue   "media format is not supported" on multiple channels. I have tried both players same result. The issue does not happen on the xrs4500 using same provider.

another problem with the Buzz TV 5 is the PVR scheduled recordings. You can't change the frequency or channel when in record mode.  No problem to do that  on the xrs4500  hopping for a fix as I record every day . you have to go to the channel every day to setup multiple recordings and if there is no epg you are out of luck

  8. I have tried to do manual recordings with the pvr function but most of them are corrupt or record for a couple of minutes and then stop.I tried internal recording ,usb and SD and the results are the same.this has been tested on two boxes with the same results.both are up to date and were reset. is there an update in the works to repair this problem? I do find the xrs 4500 to be a very good box but the fact that i'm seldom home means I must do a lot of recording. thanks for any input.
