Went to add server and put in url but I can't connect. Am i missing a step.

Just wondering because the mac add i provided wasn't in the correct format. They needed  a 00 1A 79 xx xx xx xx number which was different than what the stick was providing me. After i installed the STBemu it gave me the number in the correct format. In the future can i just change my number to this format without using the emu?

Do all Android devices need a STBemu or is it just an issue for certain services?

When purchasing a service they ask what type of equipment you are using and because the vid stick is so new it is not listed. They do however list buzz box. Would this be the same thing as far as they are concerned?
