For the remote, I assume you tried replacing batteries with a fresh set ? 

It unfortunately all depends on how you treat the remote.  If it drops a couple of time, or used with wet hands, it can tend to deteriorate pretty quick.  Have you checked to see that the remote has not split open along the sides ?  When it falls (since mine do occasionally fall), the remote tends to split open on one side (clips let go a bit).  Squeezing it shut again, and snapping back into place, tends to fix the issue.

 

Yeah I did your first suggestion. That took care of that issue but then this arose. Lol

Battery is the quarter type? I forget, is it like a 2232 or something? I'm gonna open that mother and check it out. Thats a good point.

Does anyone know why Netflix starts and then does nothing. Second box because I deleted Netflix and couldnt reinstall or find the app that is compatible. The fire stick plays Netflix how come no android boxes can't?

So Netflix just starts and does nothing. Stuck on "get started" and the remote can't change anything. I got this because I thought it might rival the Nvidea Shield which I do have one of these also. But not a good start on this guy.
