Ive noticed a few times loss of sound, i noticed it when i watching a number of youtube videos via the YT app. the only way to get sound back is to reboot the box by pressing power for a few soconds.

trying to adjust the volume level or mute , has no effect.

Its not a big problem for me as i can restart the box, but it might be of some use for the developers.

after 20 min it started downloading

I have restarted and pwer cycled, but cant install the update after i click download and install.

it just sits there with the status bar scrolling.

is it just busy, or do i need to do something ?

i want to install the above mail clients , but none are available for this device.

does anyone know an alterative for gmail and outlook or do i need to get the apk and try that way

oh boy.

i just unplugged the ethernet and it connected. i did not even need to go to connect it , it just did it with details i had saved from past attempts 

i have now checked  other networks and they work too, so it seems that if th ethernet cable is in then the wifi fails to connect. that cant be correct, but at least i know it works (ethernet overides wifi, but no error is shown)

BTW i tried the  quick connect option that generates a QR code and that did not work , the instructions for android were wrong and the QR code does not go anywhere.

i am connected via a lan cable and that works fine, but when i try and connect to any wifi network that has been found , the box tries for  a few seconds and then says "coulnt find...." even  when i chose "view available networks" they all show up, i just cant connect to anything.

is there something i am missing or is there a WPS option i can try ?

sorry guys my mistake i found where the keyboard layout option is 

Under physical keyboard , you  can select the language / layout 

its late here and i messed up

i found the option for language, but that did not change my keyboard mapping.

I am using a UK , KB but the layout is on USA.

eg. when I want to use @, i have to chose " so that i get the @ sign and vice versa

I cant see any options 

I switched off the Leanback keyboard as that states united states, but my physical KB still is  not being picked up as a UK layout

Any ideas ?

as you suggested, i tried the apk from apkmirror and it worked.

but one other thing to note was i tried and tried to download the files even via google drive and could not. in the end i downloaded another browser and it worked.

so for me at least the "browse here" app would not download, but another browser worked first time.
