I set mine to record a hockey game, so a recording of a few hours. It recorded for only 30 minutes. As it's a recurring recording, I checked the settings which were correct - a few hours, NOT just 30 minutes. 

Will they be fixing time shifting so it doesn't throw out that error or cause the intermittent freeze-frame issue that it does?

That's too bad. Might there be a way to remotely program the PVR? It would be great if the U5 had a web interface that was at least accessible from a browser on a computer on the same LAN.

I agree that the audio isn't interrupted, but something needs to be done about the video interruptions. I'm new to Buzz TV. Are the responsive to these things? Are they speedy with updates?

With Timeshifting enabled the stream of live programming seems to pause every 20-30 seconds. Sometimes notably like 2-3 seconds but if not SO bad, it still pauses briefly (less than a second) but noticeably and still every 20-30 seconds. I have tried with Timeshift recording going on to the internal storage of my U5 and also to the installed SSD (not spinning disk hard drive). With Timeshifting OFF there is no problem with stream interruptions.

It's not my internet connection as I have gigabit, and it's not my network as it's wired ethernet. Timeshifting is one of the features I purchased the U5 for, so keeping it disabled means I'll probably just return my U5.

Is there a way I can watch shows saved on my U5 PVR on a tablet in another room of my house (on the same local network)?
