Obviously buying a different unit won't help my issue with the one I have.

Which app? I'm pretty sure all are up to date. 

•  Most youtube videos get distorted with green blocks that obscure 50% or more of the video when opened in an embedded window.

I have seen solutions related to updating android webview, and others recommending fiddling with various hardware acceleration toggles, but none seems to work definitively. I see that this is a common issue, but most solutions seem to be meant for typical androids.

Is there a fix that is tailor-made for the xpl 3000?

• Certain apps only open to their first screen, after which they do not respond to any input from the mouse, as if mouse input is not being recognized as touch input.

Is this fixable, or is the fault purely in the app, and a quirk of using the android os on a non-touch device?
