I had the same problem.

I found that turning off wifi and then back on solved it for me.

Solved - I turned off wifi and then back on and it seems to have fixed it,

I can also not close the app.

Update seems to have affected bluetooth. I'm getting a "Bluetooth keeps stopping" message and I can no longer pair my remote.
