BT-200 pairs as BT-100

I just took the 2 BT-200 remotes from both of my 4900 units, and my xrs4500 properly detects them as BT-200.

Are you sure you are using the BT200 ?  Has the Mute and Pointer buttons between the VOL/CHAN buttons ?  And 4 programmable IR TV buttons ?

My xrs4500 came with a BT-100  (I just used the BT-200 remotes from my 4900 for testing).

it  pairs as BT-100 on my xrs 4500.as I said in the first post .It's the remote that is seen as a bt-100 so the remaote needs a reflash as a bt-200. this has been paired on another 4500 as well as a 4900 with the same result .they all see the remote as a BT-100. this is not the first time I have seen this, hence the request for a j-tag file to reflash the remote back to a BT-200

You should probably contact Buzz CS at cs@buzztv.com

This is the first time I hear of this, but if it is a common issue, they should be able to help you.  Maybe something to do with the fact that the xrs4500 originally shipped with a BT100, and maybe there is some assumption in the xrs4500 firmware that incorrectly assumes that any BT remote is a BT100 and forces some sort of flash on it.
