VLC and MX Player and VIMU Player and Nova Player are Open Source Android Video Players that can play streams on them if you put a stream in them. The built in Default player on the Buzz app is VLC already. Its LIBVLC We can look at adding a feature to support external players though in a future update. Yes basically the way it will work is you will be prompted with Android pop up asking which player to use and then option for Always/Just Once.
