Live recording is perfect but as soon as I try to record catch up show (recorded by IPTV provider) no luck at all. Anybody has any positive experience with this? Tried 3 IPTV providers with the same result......red square at the top of the screen doesn't appear and PVR shows listing(all tries) with no data. Thanks, Andy

I don't think so........I has been using it for 3 months, it is fantastic. The problem is specific to some channels only with one provider used as a backup service and it is consistent on my 2 boxes. Viewing is perfect. It fails after "waiting for a datastream" message. Also +6hrs channels record fine in mp4. I am just trying to find out if there is something which can help. The boxes(2) perform very well otherwise

Typically I get recording in ts format but from time to time the box records or tries to record in mkv format and fails most of the time. Anybody knows how to rectify or force it to stay in TS only. XRS4500 with unofficial upgrade to 5 ( works very well except this mkv issue) Thanks

Just wondering if the new release will include improvements in PVR....my symptom is , black screen for a split sec , comes back and recording is dropped. I did multiple parallel recordings with other hardware and no issues with other platforms. Buffer size , player selection, manual and scheduled , the same results. If I am lucky I get about 60 min uninterrupted. Love the box but it is annoying. Network errors do happen but other platforms seem to handle it better.

Is there any way to create/program a button enabling screen saver, just one click button......going to settings all the time is cumbersome. When listening to the radio streams it is helpful. Thanks

No.....and yes the latest update is on......funny that it does(switch by itself) only when a new Samsung TV is connected, with older LG all is fine. What is the purpose of that setting ? Just curious. The box works very well.

Anybody can shed some light on color depth setting. One of my BuzzTV boxes switches it on from time to time and if it does all is green. Thanks.
