is there a setting in the box software where it will reload the portal after the box is turned back on? i have looked but doesn't appear there is one but i am not an expert yet.. Mark

yes...if i turn the tv off and leave the box on, or if i turn the box and tv off, when i turn both back on, i have to disconnect then reconnect the portal for the stations to work. i also have "smart stb" on my LG tv and never have to re-load the portal. the tv does not have a VPN in use.

both boxes should have the same software version...no update available. also, i backed up 1 box and restored the backup from the first box onto the second box.

purchased the remote on Amazon (same as the box).

i have 2 XRS-4000 boxes and 2 ARQ-100 remotes. both 1-2 months old. one remote works great, no problems. 1 remote has buttons that don't work. the "live tv", "vod" and "pvr" buttons don't work on 1 box but do on the other. also, when trying to disconnect (yellow botton) from the server, the remote doesn't disconnect, but goes to the favorites screen. i would imagine the remote is bad so ordered another but does the same thing...works on 1 box but doesn't on the other. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark

hello forum...does anyone have any problems where if you have to re-connect to your server after letting the XRS sit for an extended period of time? I need to disconnect then re-connect and all works good. thanks for everyones help. Mark

yes sir...they are in my favorites but don't see where they can be re-ordered. are there any videos that show how or a manual that shows how to move/organize the channels?

does anyone know how to (or is it possible) re-order channels that show on the channel list? example....move Los Angeles ABC to show in the #7 position and Los Angeles NBC to show in #4 position?
