  1. Thank you for the response Quick Question Will the box still record if it defaults to suspend whilst in the middle of recording? TIA
  2. After update on the 24th to new firmware it seems the screensaver no longer works. Instead it puts the box into suspend. I tried manually enabling it in settings but that did nothing. Made sure stay awake was unticked in devolper options. None of the CEC settings are enabled Anyone have any ideas or could this be a bug in new firmware. Any help is appreciated.

    Volume controls

I have an X5 but I'm using the 250 remote mainly for the air mouse. My tv is jvc Fire TV and the included bt400 remote controls tv just fine (volume, power, source). The 250 can't learn the volume, source etc because it's a fire tv remote for the tv (Bluetooth not IR) but it will control the volume for the buzz box. It gets wierd though when I watch something in 5.1 surround via an iptv app like Tivimate. Then the 250 controls the tv volume but if its not 5. 1 surround it only control the buzz box volume. Anybody have an idea why this happens.?
  4. Quick question Is is possible to use a buzz tv 5 backup on a different buzz tv box also running buzz tv 5 I have an xrs 4500 and an X5 I want to know if its possible to use the 4500 backup on the x5 I know they are different android versions but is it possible before I try? Many thanks.
  5. Yes I've turned it on with 9Gb Limit, TS doesn't show up on info bar on channels with Catch Up. Its definitely using catch up when I pause as it won't play from pause position the same as it won't play catch up. Timeshift Works fine on channels without catch up. Just need to know if you can turn catch up off like you can in other iptv players.
  6. Xrs 4500 Buzz Tv 5 Is there a way to disable catch up? I would like to use Time shift but it doesn't work on Catch up Channels. It defaults to the catch up when pausing on a catch up channel and the Default or Secondary player wont play my providers catch up. So while it pauses the screen, when you restart it says it cant be played and jumps back to live TV. None Catch Up channels work fine as the Time Shift kicks in and records to the Box. Any help is appreciated.
  7. Yes I get a thumbnail, but it doesn't show what it is or what episode it is. So not that helpful, that's why i asked the question, it's been answered now and I know it can't be done atm. But thanks for trying to help.
  8. Good for you, mine doesn't. But as I said thanks for your help.
  9. Thanks for that. But it won't do what I asked now will it. It will give me a list of files played with VLC like 5473464.mkv and 3577333.mkv which doesn't help that much and it won't mark them as played in buzz 5. Thanks for your help though.
  10. I don't know to be honest. I just know some series and movies play without sound In secondary player and don't play at all in the default player. But with VLC as external player they play fine.
  11. I think it would be a good addition to have considering the internal player doesn't play all the different formats that the VOD and TV series are encoded in. It would be a thumbs up from me.
  12. That what I do. What I asked was is there anyway to mark them as "watched/viewed ". Like it does with the internal player where it puts an eye in the corner to show its been viewed/watched. It doesn't do it on an external player. So you can keep up with which episode/movie you have watched. Something like with Plex where you can manually "Mark" a TV show or movies as watcbed
  13. Is there a way to mark Vod/series as watched when viewed with an eternal player on Buzz 5?
  14. Thanks for the reply. I actually posted this in the wrong section and reposted in the correct one. I have an XRS4500 which is on Buzz 5. But I get the response media format not supported for catch up. So I've been using their xciptv with vlc for catchup. Its not the end of the world as I don't use it that often. But it would be nice to select external player (like with VOD) to watch catch up. Thanks anyway.
