I notice that the most recent update has removed the volume control on the box. Hopefully the next update fixes this.

I have a fix for the bright light issue. Take a Bic white out roller, the stuff to correct typing errors, and roll it over the light while turned on. Now you have a white film over the light. Next, use a black Sharpie marker and colour the white film. Problem solved. This method still allows infrared signals to pass through the window and you no longer have a brilliant blue light.
