    U5 random reboots

Any update on this problem? I am experiencing the same thing with one of my U5's. It will stutter very fast and then reboot ramdomly, sometimes multiple times a day.
  4. I had an issue with the U5 turning itself on at night when I was asleep. I rectified it by turning off the virtaul CEC as well as the CEC. I also set the powerkey to go to sleep so that when I power it down (off), it boots into LiveTV when I push the power on. Perhaps this will help?
  5. MAybe turning on the Allow STB to power on and power off TV in the CEC settings?
  6. So how can you program the TV to power up at the same time as the BuzzTV?
  7. Thank you for the feedback. I just purchased the ARQ-200 and I like it better due to backlight and Querty keyboard. All is working well however I can't seem to put it into learning mode. Any suggestions as I have scoured this site and the internet and no luck... just about learning mode for the ARQ-100.
  8. Tried that and it doesn't not work.... perhaps I need to repair the remote?
  9. The mouse arrow appears on the screeen and moves very well however anyone know how to scroll up and down with the BT250?
  10. Thank you for the clarification. I checked menu/settings/configuration/app settings and it was already set to never. Maybe my issue is the TV turning itself and the box on. It is a pain as it is the middle of the night and never during the day..... weird to say the least.
  11. Went to home page/settings/device preferences/about and there is a factory reset but again it only offers to reset or cancel, no option to pick a time or "never."
  12. Thank you for the feedback. Where exactly on the U5 box is the reset? I see the restart but it is either restart or cancel... no option to indicate never option.
  13. After 3 days of fighting with this U5 (I have two other U5's as well) I finally got the U5 to turn off by double checking all CEC connections and insuring they are off on the Samsung TV and on the U5 as well. I then turned on the CEC virual and the U5 now turns off when I turn off the TV with the BT-400. Thank you for all the help! Now I still have issues with this same box turning itself back on ramdomly during the night (each night it only turns on once. I shut it off and all is well until the next night.) I have shut off CEC on both the Samsung TV and the U5, I have changed HDMI cables. I have restarted the U5 and I changed the power supply but no luck. The power button is set to shut off. Today I found another setting on the Samsung "Auto Protection" that was set to two hours. Apparently it acts like a screen saver and does the following: "If a still image is shown on the screen for longer than the time you selected, the TV will automatically activate Screen Burn Protection to prevent burned-in after-images that may damage the screen." I have set this to off and I will see tonight if that fixes the issue. I do not have this issue with my other 2 U5's connected to an LG OLED TV and an old Panasonice Plasma TV.
  14. Any suggestions for me with a U5 that doen't turn off?
